Valentine’s Day is here. Are you looking for some ideas to celebrate lovers’ day, 14 February, in Milan? Here is a selection of proposals and some ideas: proposals for special menus and cocktails designed for those who want to seize the occasion of the Lovers’ Day for a different evening.
For cocktail mixology lovers
Niks’ & Co Rosso Cupido Cocktail – Central Station area
At Nik’s & Co they believe that it is essential to drink well in order to have a pleasant evening, especially one dedicated to love. “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not eaten well,” goes the famous aphorism by Virginia Woolf.
That’s why Marco Garavaglia, barmanager at Nik’s & Co, has created a long drink that celebrates lovers’ day, giving it an evocative name that leaves no doubt: Cupid’s Red.
Characterizing the personality of the Valentine's Day cocktail is not only the red color, but also the vinous, slightly oxidized notes of Saba (the concentrated syrup made from fresh red grape must) and Sherry that harmonize perfectly with the soft, vegetal note of Tequila; a hibiscus soda lends freshness and the proverbial color of love and passion.
A fresh and sensual drink that will be gifted to all couples who decide to dine at Nik’s & Co on February14, experiencing a journey “around the world” thanks to the cuisine proposed by Chef Paolo Bertin. With his contemporary and eclectic style Chef Bertin leads the palate to discover creative dishes inspired by different countries around the globe, to offer guests an original and satisfying signature cuisine.
PS: Red Cupid drink will still be available for tasting throughoutValentine’s Day week as an “off-list” special drink!
