Blue Note “Jazz Around” music tour in Milan

The venue in via Borsieri announces a new initiative of the “Blue Note in Viaggio con Turisanda” partnership: the music of the jazz club will travel the streets of Milan aboard a historic tram with the participation of the Bonavita-Iasko-Pace trio and Bandakadabra

On the occasion of the inauguration of the 2023-2024 season, Blue Note Milano celebrates its presence in the territory and its artistic and cultural activity with a musical journey on board a historical tram.

Included in the calendar of Milano è Viva, the cultural initiative of the Municipality of Milan, it will feature two bands: the trio Bonavita-Iasko-Pace, who will perform for the duration of the route on board the tram, and the marching band Bandakadabra, who will descend at first into Piazza 24 Maggio to continue on foot to the Darsena and a second time near the Garibaldi Station in a live performance involving passers-by.

On Saturday 9 September 2023, the great music of Via Borsieri will invade Milan and
will make the city’s iconic locations resound.

The tram will depart at 1.30 pm from Porta Genova. Passers-by will be able to climb aboard to experience an immersive journey through the best jazz music and more.

The arrival in Piazza 24 Maggio is scheduled for 1.45 pm, where it will be possible to get off to attend the touring concert by the marching band Bandakadabra, towards the Darsena.

For those remaining on board, the tour continues through Via Cantù, Piazza Fontana and Piazza Castello, before returning to Porta Genova.

“For us, it is the icing on the cake of our 20th anniversary celebrations that began in January 2023.

NB The tour will be repeated until 3.45 pm with stops every 10 minutes for the public to get on and off.

The tour ends near Garibaldi Station at 4:45 pm. From here the marching band will continue its way along Corso Como then reaching Piazza 25 Aprile, where the event will end.

We are happy to be able to involve the citizens and the public who have always frequented our club in a unique and unusual way: Bandakadbra and the trio Bonavita-Iasko-Pace are two dynamic and highly engaging realities and we are sure that their performances will captivate passers-by.
