Flores Cócteles now also at the Arena in Milan

He announces the opening of his third venue, located in Viale Elvezia in Milan, next to the historic El Porteño inaugurated in 2013 in front of the Arena Civica, the third Flores Cócteles. The new cocktail bar joins the Flores Cocteles in Via Melloni in Milan and the Terrazza Flores in Rome, continuing the ambitious project conceived by Sebastian Bernardez, together with his brother Alejandro Bernardez and Fabio Acampora, under the direction of the Dorrego Company.

Sebastian Bernardez’s experience in Mixology

Known as “Seba“, Sebastian Bernardez, who arrived in Italy in 1991 from Buenos Aires, brings with him a wealth of experience in the world of mixology. With Flores Cócteles, Seba has created elegant cocktail bars in a classic Argentine style, decorated with modern antiques and antiques. The Flores restaurants  are characterized by a relaxing atmosphere, traditional and contemporary drinks, perfect for an aperitif, dinner or after dinner.

A Cocktail Bar between classic and innovative

The new Flores Cócteles Arena is an intimate and refined venue, with a large wooden counter at the entrance and a bright neon sign. Guests can choose between the shared table or a dozen tables, with a capacity of 32 indoor and 20 outdoor seats. Ukrainian head bartender Viacheslav Pavlyk, known as “Slavik“, leads the bar, having honed his skills in various establishments across Ukraine, Cyprus, Russia, Austria and Italy.

The Drink List: Clasicos Cocktails reinterpreted and Especiales

Following the guidelines of the two older “brothers” of Milan and Rome, the cocktail list  of Flores Arena is renewed twice a year to include classic cocktails reinterpreted with fresh and seasonal ingredients. As many as twenty-one drinks on the list

  • The Especiales Cocktails, 7 innovative creations
  • The Clasicos, 14 classics of mixology, prepared with high quality spirits and liqueurs.

Among the most popular drinks are the Aviation, the Long Island, and the PornoStar Martini. Clasicos include Negroni, French 75, Americano, Martini, Espresso Martini, Margarita and Paloma. The restaurant also offers a selection of wines by the glass, champagne and Italian sparkling wines, chosen from El Porteño Arena’s wine list.

Known for the attention to details in the preparation of drinks, from the freshness of the ingredients to the refined presentation for Flores Cócteles, the no-waste philosophy is an integral part of the Dorrego group’s sustainable approach. The restaurant’s décor is accurate to the smallest detail, with fresh flowers on every table, evoking a chic, retro garden.

It will host some of the best bartenders in the world, both Italian and international, as special guests for the preparation of innovative drinks. The proximity to El Porteño Arena makes this place ideal for an aperitif followed by a dinner with Argentine specialties.
